Getting to ADNEC and around Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is easy to navigate and serviced by taxis, Uber, Careem, Bolt, and a public bus network. ADNEC is a well-known and established venue with its own parking and drop-off locations.
Further details regarding local transport options and venue access will be released closer to the event.
Conference shuttles
Stay tuned for more information about dedicated shuttle services to facilitate easy access to ADNEC for the 2026 UN Water Conference. Any shuttle provision will be published on the conference website’s Plan your visit pages once confirmed.
Collecting your badge
Badge collection for all attendees takes place at Hall 1 of ADNEC. On-site registration desks open ahead of the conference, with international arrivals expected from 5 December 2026. Bring the passport or Emirates ID you used at registration.
Media travelling with equipment, in brief
Journalists covering the conference apply for media accreditation, a temporary foreign correspondent card through the National Media Authority's online system. Crews carrying filming equipment also need an equipment entry permit, and the route depends on the airport of arrival: arrivals via Dubai's airports apply through the National Media Authority online system (one working day); arrivals via Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi apply through the Creative Media Authority. Secure all approvals before making travel arrangements.
