Apply to Host a Side Event at The Oasis
You’re invited to shape the conversations that will define the future of water.
The 2026 United Nations Water Conference, Co-Hosted by the UAE and Senegal this December, will bring the world together around a shared understanding that water connects everything — our lives, our economies, our food systems, our energy, our communities, and our futures.
At the heart of the Conference will be the Oasis, hosted and managed by the UAE to provide a space open to all for connections, conversations, and commitments to come to life.
Located adjacent to the Blue Zone, The Oasis is a dedicated non-accredited space designed to complement the 2026 UN Water Conference programme and create opportunities for a wider community of voices to participate, exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and turn ambition into action.
Through pavilions, immersive experiences, dynamic programming, and a limited number of side events, the Oasis will bring together governments, businesses, investors, innovators, civil society, academics, youth, and other stakeholders from across the water ecosystem.

Convening spaces
Side events will be hosted in convening spaces across the Oasis that are designed to accommodate either 50 - 70 participants or 150 - 200 participants. These events can be roundtables, panels, showcases, workshops, or similar formats.

Eligibility to Propose a Convening
- Anyone registered to participate in the Oasis is eligible to submit a program for consideration for the convening spaces outlined. This event submission is open to all entities regardless of UN accreditation status.
- For entities that submitted a side event proposal for the 2026 UN Water Conference programme that was not selected, we welcome you to bring those ideas forward for consideration at The Oasis.
- There is no cost to host a side event at The Oasis.
